Vulgate vs King James Bibles: If the Latin Vulgate was translated into English today...?

.... With the technical advanced linguistic prophesiers we have today, would it make a huge difference between what sort of Bible we have now and a Bible we could have, if the Latin Vulgate were further studied and translated into English again?
